Operations Program Manager/Service Manager

We have a current need for an experienced Security Operations Manager that has demonstrated a proven track record of driving a technology operations team with excellence. Our client is Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, WA.

The Operations Program Manager role will involve working directly with client program managers, business owners and operational support teams, as well as our Cinetix Solutions team. The role will be responsible for managing a complex set of security owned services such as network scanning and incident management for an online environment. The role will include performing SLA management (establishing, measuring, refining and communicating results), conducting post-mortems & facilitating process improvements, driving the onboarding process for service operations, delivering regular service announcements and overall communications.

Successful candidates will have excellent oral and written communication, problem solving, and project management skills. They must be resourceful and quick learners, and display the ability to understand both business and technological issues. The ability to actively manage project tasks, resources and deadlines are essential.uccessful candidates will have solid oral and written communication, problem solving, and project management skills. The ideal candidate(s) will have the following qualifications:

• Exceptional customer engagement, interpersonal, presentation and overall communication skills - both written and oral
• Track record of successful operations management roles for large IT organizations (Microsoft and/or Microsoft MSN/Live experience is a plus)
• Ability to actively manage multiple project tasks, resources and deadlines
• Experience managing project team resources
• ITIL or equivalent plus experience is a strong plus
• Experience with the MS Operations Framework is desired
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking basics is required
• Understanding of Windows and SQL basics is required
• Minimum 2 years of consulting or related experience is desired

A Bachelor's degree is desired.
